Description

How to Replace 26 Inch Bike Tube? STEP 1: REMOVE THE TIRE - Deflate the tire completely. Starting at the location opposite of the valve stem, use tire lever to pry the tire bead until one side is completely free from the wheel. STEP 2: REMOVE THE PUNCTURED TUBE - Remove punctured tube from the wheel. Inspect the tire's inner wall and remove any foreign objects that may have caused the puncture. STEP 3: INSTALL THE INNER TUBE - Slightly inflate the tube to hold its shape. Then insert the new tube valve through the valve hole, and place rest of the tube back into the rim. STEP 4: INSTALL THE TIRE - Install the tire back into the rim and make sure all parts of the tire bead is seated in the rim bed. You may use a tire lever to push the last part of the tire onto the rim during tire installation. **BE CAREFUL NOT TO PINCH THE TUBE WITH THE TIRE LEVER. STEP 5: INFLATE THE TUBE - Inflate to desired pressure. Make sure it is lower than the maximum pressure allowed as indicated on the side wall of the tire.
