Wall thickness is closely monitored to assure that our customers consistently get reproducible results. If the I.D. is too large, vortex plugs and coaxial inserts can slip; if the I. D. is too small the plug could break the tube. If the O.D. is too small, the tube will wobble causing modulation sidebands; if too large the inside surface of the probe insert may be contacted causing damage.
