Every two days, there will be system & battery tests performed to ensure that the system is in good condition and ready for the next storm. POWERFUL BASEMENT PROTECTION SYSTEM: This SmartPump combination consists of a primary ½ HP pump with a 7-Amp split capacitor motor that can pump up to 4,320 gallons/hour, 3,780 gallons/hour at 10 feet of lift, and has a maximum lift of 30 feet. Its 12V backup sump pump can pump up to 3,600 gallons/hour, 2,400 gallons/hour at 10 feet of lift. Pump switches are rated for 1 million cycles. Dual backup pump switches for extra protection.
SET AND FORGET: After setting up the central and battery backup sump pump system, you can virtually forget about it. The Backup pump automatically activates when power fails, or the primary pump requires assistance. This backup pump powered by a single 75 A/hour battery removes up to 13,000 gallons, providing days of protection under typical use. The pumps perform without pipe banging or thumping through their silent check valves.
