  • Replace your belts every 3 to 6 months to keep your vacuum cleaning performance
  • Make sure your brush roll is free of debris and spins freely so you have no problems with your new belts. Your new belt will be smaller in size because your old one is stretched out.
  • When comparing your old belt to the new one, it is common for the new belt to be 1-3" shorter in length than the old, stretched and worn belt. You should have to stretch the belt fairly hard put the brushroll in place, it is this tension that causes the brushroll to turn.
