Steps to Install the replacement filter without any extra tools:
Locate the filter below the refrigerator. Slowly turn the cartridge a 1/4 of a turn counter-clockwise and remove. Remove the knob from the former filter.
Remove all packaging and the protective cap from the new filter.
Slide the knob from the former filter on to the new filter. Insert the new filter into the refrigerator and turn clockwise until fully seated.
Run water from the dispenser for 5 minutes (approximately 3 gallons) to clear the system and prevent air from entering the system.
Locate the included Water Filter Replacement Calendar and follow the instructions on the label..
Check the new filter installation for any possible leaks. If a leak is detected, uninstall and then reinstall the filter as instructed above.
