Camphor can also be used in a steam vaporizer to help relieve coughing by moistening breathing passages. Once diluted with 3 parts olive oil and applied to the affected area, camphor spirit can temporarily relieve minor pains. Camphor is also known as an effective insect and moth repellent. Soaking a piece of cloth in camphor and leaving it in the open drives away insects like fleas, mosquitoes, and flies. Directions: Adults and children 2 yrs and older: Apply to the affected area not more than 3 or 4 times daily.
