How to remove or install the spool:
1. Rotate the valve stem in the direction of flow so that the shaft can pass through the valve body.
2. Connect the valve core to the service port of the system.
3. Push the shaft toward the service port, and slowly and carefully rotate the shaft until the tip of the shaft engages with the valve core body.
4. Rotate the shaft counterclockwise by turning the shaft knob until can no longer turn the shaft.
5. Pull out the shaft completely, close the valve, and the valve stem is perpendicular to the flow direction.
6. Loosen and remove the shaft connecting nut from the valve body, remove the old valve core, and install another valve core.
