The original Generac 73112 (73112B) was a very common gasoline carb fit for a variety of RV generators: NP, QP, IM, Q, and Prime Pact units. Models: 00595-0-1, 00784-1-2, 00843-0, 00860-0, 00861-0, 09206-0, 09290-4, 09393-3, 09592-3-4-5, 09600-3-4-5. The original carburetor # 73112B and the rebuild kit 075252 are both no longer available from Generac. However, we do have this carburetor that is similar. (see photos) This carb was designed for the same engine in a different application. It will work and bolt up OK, but the linkages are a little different and the choke will need a spring to hold it open, etc. It does require that you are able and willing to retrofit a little bit. We will not be able to take it back once it is installed. Again, it bolts right up and you can get it to run, but read below for the retro you may wish to do at your own risk. The nipple for the gas inlet is for rubber fuel hose and is straight - not at an angle. NOTE: The solenoid positive wire connects to wire #14 or the same wire that connects to the fuel pump, and the negative wire to ground or wire #0. (wire zero) The only differences between this carb and the OEM was that needed to remove the butterfly valve arm and then remove the detente ball that causes this carb valve to lock open. It needed to move freely and have a spring return. used the spring from the old carb and the drilled out the hole for the spring to set into and that worked fine. TESTIMONIAL FROM CLIENT: THE NEW AFTERMARKET CARB WORKED OUT WELL. I USED A 1/16" DRILL BIT AND DRILLED THE HOLE FOR THE CHOKE RETURN SPRING. NOTE, BE CAREFUL NOT TO DRILL THE HOLE TOO DEEP FOR THE CHOKE SPRING. I MARKED THE BIT FOR DEPTH USING THE OLD CARB SPRING HOLE. WITH A LITTLE WORK, THIS CARB IS IDEAL FOR ANYTHING THAT CALLS FOR THE 73112.
