Most automotive lead acid batteries have top post terminals. However, there are still many batteries with side terminals or both side and top terminals. Connecting bare wire and/or lug ends to side terminal lead acid batteries is problematic at best, as the battery fitting is a female thread socket. To make connections to this type of battery requires the correct type of fitting. The Tech Team Solid Brass Side Post Terminal fits standard 3/8”-16 threaded side battery terminal sockets. The post has a 3/8 Inch diameter threaded stud suitable for 3/8 Inch lug style wire connectors. 300 Amp capacity. Set includes six (6) posts.
