The SW-520D is a common ball tilt sensor consisting of two electrically conductive elements (electrodes) and a conductive free mass (ball) encapsulated in the same housing.
The switch is in the "off" position when horizontal and in the "on" position when raised 10 to 90 degrees or when rocked.
When the switch is opened 10 degrees below horizontal, it is difficult to trigger conduction when shaken.
This switch is suitable for triggering small current circuits, not for power switches.
Widely used in electronic toys, medical electronics, car audio, automatic control systems, testing and measuring equipment, automotive vehicles and so on.
