How to wire the Eclipse LED directly to a battery?

1) Cut off the power plug
2) Carefully strip the outer black wire sheath, and then inner wires
3) You will see two inner wires with different colors:
Brown is positive +ve
Blue is negative -ve
IMPORTANT: you MUST hook the wires up with the correct polarity. If you accidentally reverse them, even for half a second, it may permanently damage the LED.
