These are small screws, please do not overtighten, proper pilot holes are required before installing, incorrect pilot holes may cause the screws broken. Check any existing holes for diameter and depth and use hand tools only when installing.
Drilling too small or not deep enough of a pilot hole will cause either the screw heads stripping out on soft screws, or breakage at or below the surface for hardened screws. You can search Pilot Hole for #2 or #3 screw to get all of the information you need
