This Alemite 323060 pressure relief fitting opens at 25 psi, allowing excess pressure to vent. When pressure decreases below 15 pounds per square inch (psi), the valve closes. It has trivalent zinc plating for resistance to corrosion and a 1/8" male PTF-SAE Special Short connection for less tap travel. It can be used with grease or oil, and it is Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant. This pressure relief fitting is suitable for use on gear box housings and bearings (such as king pins and universal joints) where excessive lubricant pressures are not desirable.
Tube fittings are components used for connecting, branching, terminating, and changing the direction of tubing in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. They are made of brass, stainless steel, PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), and other materials that resist corrosion and wear. Tube fittings have various types of connections, including threaded, welded, barbed, and push-to-connect (also called one-touch). Push-to-connect connections do not require tools or sealants. Tube fittings are used in various applications, including machine tools, airplane and truck controls, and automated production lines, among others.
Alemite manufactures lubrication and fluid handling systems and components. The company, founded in 1918, is headquartered in Fort Mill, SC.
