Description
Kibbit Movers is an engaging board game that improves vocabulary and categorization skills. In the easier level children sort household items by rooms. Blank pieces give children practice in listing by category while still having the visual support of a captivating house mockup designed with just the right amount of detail to jumpstart visualization. Children really enjoy moving the engaging "mover" characters through the house as they label and sort household items. In the advanced level, children use the blank pieces to fill up the rooms in the outlined house. Children are therefore encouraged to visualize scenes independently and to access their developing semantic webs. Associating items by place is one of the earlier categorization skills that children develop and is important foundation for developing higher categorization skills, vocabulary, and inferencing skills. You'll be amazed at how effortlessly children will improve in these skills while having fun playing “Kibbit Movers”!
