How to make candle wick burn better? Using Skills as follows:

1. These wooden candle wicks are unwaxed so they won't burn alone. Please make sure soak the candle wicks in wax (molten) 5-10 minutes before candle making.

2. When using soy wax, please insert 2 wicks into the metal base or add combustion improver.

3. You can insert 2 wicks into the metal base or soak the wicks in fragrance oil about 10-20 minutes before putting them in the jar for better burning.

4. It is important to trim the wick close to the wax so it has fuel to light. If the wick won't light, trim it shorter, 1/8 inch~1/4inch works best.

5. Usually the wick needs to be trimmed every 2 hours of burning to help maintain the flame. Otherwise, the longer the burn time, the larger the flame.

6. When you stop using scented candles, do not blow it out as it will cause smoke. The correct way is to cover the container with a lid and let it go out naturally.

7. If you find that the wick is suffocated, it is because the candle melts faster than it burns, and the candle floods the wick. Please blow it dry or wait for it to go out, then use a paper towel to absorb some melted wax. Light up again.
