Description
1. Before measurement, the surface to be measured should be wiped clean to prevent dust and impurities from wearing the measuring tool.
2. The measuring base of the caliper and the end face of the ruler body should be perpendicular to the surface to be measured and fit tightly without being skewed, otherwise the measurement results will be inaccurate.
3. The reading should be made under sufficient light, and the line of sight of both eyes should be perpendicular to the surface of the caliper to reduce the reading error.
4 When measuring parts on the machine tool, wait until the parts are completely stopped.
5. When measuring the groove depth or when the other reference surface is a curve, the end surface of the measuring base must be placed on the highest point of the curve.
6. When measuring parts with depth vernier calipers, it is not allowed to apply excessive pressure.
7. In order to reduce the measurement error, increase the number of measurements appropriately and take the average value.
8. The measurement temperature should be appropriate. You must wait for the workpiece to cool to room temperatu.
