If there is no mechanical key, skip this step. Use a flathead screwdriver or coin to gently pry open the key fob at the seam by inserting the tool and twisting it. Carefully lift out the old battery. Insert the new battery with the positive (+) side facing up. Snap the key fob halves back together firmly. If you removed a mechanical key, reinsert it until it clicks into place.
