Maintaining your jewelry:

Avoid exposure: Contact with household chemicals, or any substances which contain sulfur will cause corrosion and tarnish — so it's a good idea to remove jewelry when doing household chores. Direct sunlight also causes to tarnish, so be sure to take off your jewelry before you go swimming, sunbathing and showering.

Storage: As exposure to air tarnishes it, storing in airtight plastic bags with anti-tarnish strips is a great preventative measure.

Polishing: You can use a regular soft cloth to clean the crystals, pearls or gemstones. Use a polishing cloth to clean jewelry BUT you should never use the polishing cloth to clean the crystals, pearls or gemstones.
