He was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team in 2016 and the NHL All-Star Game in 2018, 2019, 2020, before being traded to the Golden Knights in 2021. The team's Center and alternate Captain helped lead the Golden Knights to a Stanley Cup victory in 2023. In his first playoff appearance, Eichel led the league in postseason scoring and finished second in voting for the Conn Smythe Trophy for playoff MVP, behind linemate Jonathan Marchessault.
