Description
More versatile than other pencil sets you may find online! Lighter, thinner, and longer than other pencils with longer fittings. These will also last longer while being more comfortable to use. Ideal on bronze coins such as ancient Roman Coins, US Indian Head Pennies, or 2-cent pieces. Perfect for cleaning bronze coins and artifacts found while metal detecting. Directions and recommendations: 1. The two hard-point pencils should be used in circular motions. Start gently and then figure out what amount of pressure is appropriate. 2. Favor dry cleaning as water may harm coins and their patina. 3. The hard point pencils are absolutely great to get rid of heavy concretions-like dirt crust. 4. The use of the brass scalpel is pretty self-explanatory. It should be used at the very beginning of a cleaning session if the crust proves to be very hard. You should stop using it before you actually reach the surface of the coin. 5. The fiberglass (white) pencil can be used in conjunction with liquid cleaners like Mint State Restoration Cleaner. The Mint State Restoration Cleaner will help soften any tough crust or concretions while the pencil gently removes it.
