Cause lower dBi loss:The loss is less than 0.1 dBi （magnificent）,The arrestor has a VSWR ≤ 1.25 so as long as the other components in the system are higher, this arrestor will not impact the VSWR.
How much lightning can handle：Lightning arresters are specified as the maximum amount of current they can handle over a specified time since it the amperage that causes the damge more than the voltage. This model is rated at 10 kA (8/20 μs).it has been superior to other types of lightning arresters.
It can be used outside/inside . the arrester are weatherproof by design, and as long as you tighten it properly it should be fine. You may still want to weatherproof the entire connection. you can use 3M 130C tape to seals to itself.
It needs additional grounding cable, 8 or 6 gauge copper wire preferably.
