The Norwegian Foot March, or Marsjmerket, is a skill badge earned by the Norwegian armed forces. It's considered to be one of the most difficult foreign military badges to earn. The Norwegian Foot March is a 18.6-mile (30-kilometer) ruck march that participants must complete while wearing uniform and boots. The march must be completed within 4 hours and 30 minutes for men and 4 hours and 50 minutes for women, with different times for different age groups. Participants must also carry a 25-pound (11-kilogram) ruck sack. The badge is lapel pin-sized and can be attached to clothing with a pin and clutch. It can be worn on an Army Green Service Uniform (AGSU) or an Army Service Uniform (ASU) as a foreign badge. The badge is awarded in three levels: Bronze Badge: Complete the march in 4 hours and 30 minutes or less Silver Badge: Complete two marches Gold Badge: Complete five marches
