As the decade of the 80 's transitioned to the 90 's, professional guitarists began to ask for heavier gauged picks in a variety of shapes that produced a tone similar to Celluloid Picks. We experimented with various materials including Celluloid to meet the demand. Our search led us to a special Thermoplastic material blend which provided extra rigidity without sacrificing tone or memory. The end result was a new line of picks we dubbed as ProPlecs.
