MAIKA is a full range of sustainable, functional, and delightful totes, backpacks, and travel accessories. Viola Sutanto, the founder of MAIKA, saw a need for a bag that was stylish, durable, and affordable – a bag that fit into her lifestyle as a working professional, multi-tasking mom, and avid athlete. MAIKA (Japanese for “dancing flower”) now features 14 silhouettes, meant to go from the office to the market to vacation and everywhere in between. Inspired by everyday adventures and busy lives, our thoughtfully designed recycled canvas bags use vegan leather and feature hand-drawn original patterns (by Viola herself!) that are hand-printed with eco-friendly inks.
