(One of the hand guards has longer mounting tab, it goes on the cable clutch side, the short one goes on the brake side. If you run a 2014 or Newer baggers with a hydraulic clutch , the mounting tabs don't need to be different sizes.If you mind how it looks like,you might need to modify the long one.)
