Coloring is quite addicting!!! It's relaxing and such a great feeling when you have completed a page. I have a several coloring books but I've been looking for one that is strictly mandalas and one that is spiral bound. One of the best things about this coloring book is that it is in Hardback. I can color anywhere and don't necessarily need a table or lap board. I love that I don't need any extra support. The mandalas in this book are beautiful. The pages are of good thickness, not like children's coloring book pages that bleed thru if you use markers. The pages in this book are high quality pages and will look nice framed. And, there is only print on ONE side! I have used markers, colored pencils, gel pens as well as watercolor pencils on these pages with no problem bleeding thru. I love mandalas, and this is my 'go-to' coloring book when I want to use markers or watercolor media. The paper is very thick card stock and holds up to watercolors without warping. Plus, the lines do not smear at all. I love the fact that the pages are very well peforated at the top and very easy to remove (since I prefer to color on a clipboard). The pages are spiral bound at the top with a very thick cardboard front and back. The top binding is great for my left-handed daughter. She likes to use Touch markers, which you can see some bleed-through on the back of the page. But it doesn't bleed so much as to ruin the next page. My Tombow markers bleed through much less (my blue mandala uses those). Markers just glide over the page! I've used Inktense watercolor pencils, Caran D'ache Supracolor watercolor pencils, and Neocolor II water soluable crayons with this book and all work great. --VINE Voice Top 50 Reviewer
