The most striking features of the Special Series is the simple, elegant and octagonal design with a snap button. Long and slim, made of ebonite and later of celluloid, the Special writing instruments have established themselves as reliable work equipment at a fair price. Due to the ball pens' great success, fountain pens and the small Special S version were soon added to the range.

Our Kaweco SPECIAL Mechanical Pencil – a precious push pencil with a brilliant personality: The Special Series lives up to its name. It promises exceptional and elegant writing, sketching or painting with dreamlike ease. Exquisite aluminium or brass is used for production. Robust and reliable mechanisms complete the tasteful series.

Thanks to the comfortable diameter of 10 mm, the pencil fits particularly well in hand and does not let you tire when writing. Its high-quality and precise mechanics originate from Japan. The brass model develops a natural, individual patina over time.
