The gauge is made of tool steel, chrome finish. Rust-resistant, corrosion-resistant & friction-resistant.
A set of 6 pieces, each gage has a different measuring range, total range is 5/16" - 6" & (8mm - 15mm).
This is a T-gage used to accurately measure difficult-to-measure apertures or groove widths. Convenient, fast and accurate.
The gage itself has no scale and cannot be read directly. Its real use is measurement transfer, and accurate measurements require secondary measurements with measurement tools such as rulers or vernier calipers.
