It is recommended to heat the primer pump before installation to soften the internal O-ring. Boiling water can be used for heating or placed next to the heater for baking and heating.

Please note that when installing this filter housing in cold weather, the O-ring inside the prime pump may freeze very stiff. It is recommended to install it indoors and heat the "prime pump" to soften the O-ring to ensure no leakage
