Follow these steps on how to replace your Toyota key fob battery with ease:If your key fob has a mechanical key, slide the release button or latch to remove it. If there is no mechanical key, skip this step.
Use a flathead screwdriver or coin to gently pry open the key fob at the seam by inserting the tool and twisting it. Carefully lift out the old battery. Insert the new battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
Snap the key fob halves back together firmly. If you removed a mechanical key, reinsert it until it clicks into place. Test the key fob by pressing the lock and unlock buttons to ensure it's working.
