How to Install: First, disconnect the ECT1 connector, locate the ECT1 connector on the top of the engine on the driver's side, release the tab, gently shake the connector, and then unplug the connector from the ECT1 sensor. Then connect the VCM harness, plugging the product's female connector into the ECT1 sensor and the vehicle OEM harness's female connector into the product's male connector. Finally reinstall the engine cover.
