This stop has a projection of 3" and is long enough to provide enough clearance for most standard door lever handles, door knobs, and door mounted towel bars. Unlike other base stops that come with baseboard screws of less than 1" and a small diameter base, idh's 13010-026 has an extra-long hanger screw (1-1/2") and a much wider base (1-1/4") that virtually eliminates the possibility  of accidental or "non-accidental" kick Offs.
