Before installation: Please prepare a screwdriver and disconnect the power supply at the same time.
INSTALLATION PROCESS 1: First, please remove the two heat lamps and the plastic grill from the exhaust fan. Then you can easily see the motor assembly. By unplugging the old motor and then removing one screw and loosening the other. Finally the old motor comes out and the new motor is put in.

Installation Process 2: If you remove your old fan and realize that the mounting bracket for the new fan does not match the old fan. This is easily fixed by simply fitting the old bracket to the new fan. When you do this, you can remove the screws that hold the fan motor in place, which means that if you leave it loose and assemble it "upside down", the fan will run backwards. The "upside down" as mentioned I mean turn the rotor over. If the noise persists, the last screw holding the fan in place may not be tightened, and when all the screws are tightened, the vibration noise will stop.

Installation Procedure 3: If you have a Model 9417DN-R02 exhaust fan. Below will be some of the details of the installation process.The Nutone Model 9417DN-R02 exhaust fan goes in and out easily. All you need to do is remove the cover (the two springs are easily removed from the top) and then you can easily locate the two screws that hold the motor in place. Then unplugged the old motor and removed the two screws. Installed the new one, plugged it in, put the cover on, and then it was done.
