  • Maximum of 7.5 lbs/sf of loading at 24 in center for walls or 16 on center for cealings.
  • Splice sections together by nesting at least one screw hole.
  • Use with screws only. Minimum Type W 1-1/4 inch long for wood framing or Type S 3/8 in. long for steel framing.

Improves STC up to 9 or more STC when installed as part of a wall assembly. Pre-cut to 4.5 ft for easy handling and install. Price is for 20 - 4ft 6inch long hat channels.
