The Cooper-Atkins 50014-K Type K thermocouple weighted surface probe measures temperature from -40 to +500 degrees F (-40 to +260 degrees C). The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) probe measures 2.5" in diameter and is for use monitoring temperatures on grills and griddles. It has a response time of 2 seconds on an oiled surface for fast readings. The flexible armor lead measures 30" and withstands temperatures up to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).
