A reed switch is an electrical switch operated by an applied magnetic field that provides a switching signal in conjunction with your alarm system or other application.

NO means normally open: the circuit conducts when the magnets are separated, and the circuit does not conduct when the magnets are put together;
NC means normally closed: when the magnets are together, the circuit conducts; when the magnets are separated, the circuit does not conduct.

Installation instructions:
1. Make auxiliary preparations according to the type of door sensor (such as embedded holes, fixed points, etc.);
2. The door sensor should be installed in the closed position of the door/window/drawer;
3. The magnet part is installed in the movable part, The switch part is installed in the fixed part; the switch part and the magnet part should be aligned as much as possible;
4. The door magnet should be kept away from the strong magnetic field interference source such as the transformer, otherwise the working performance of the door magnet will be affected, and wrong action signals may occur.
