  • 2. Smooth PET + Texture PEI Surface: the PET surface exhibits a pattern resembling Carbonfiber. The intersection of gloss and matte surfaces forms a striped pattern, creating a three-dimensional and orderly print surface with a distinctive texture, a new printing exploring. It can withstand temperatures up to 120°C, making it ideal for low-temp filaments like PLA PETG. Another side presents a delicate matte texture, exuding a calm, stable quality for ABS, with a high-temp resist of up to 300°C.
  • 3. Great First Layer Adehsion: An Appropriate Z value is VERY important, for example, setting -0.945 on Prusa i3 MK3S+. If too low, filament buildup or no 3d printing material extrusion, easily scratch the bed surface either. If too high, the prints comes off the build plate, messing things up. Turn OFF the cooling fan and Slow Down the print speed 10-25mm/s is necessary for a 3d printing project's first few layers. Regular cleaning, a Dry filament and Hems adding work for a good first layer.
  • 4. Total 0.7mm Thickened Steel Plate: Adopt a 0.4mm thick stainless steel plate that is resistant to deformation and rust, use a new technology to well stick the thick PET film and our proprietary high-adhesion PEI formula. With high flatness and ample toughness, it provides strong adhesion, making it extremely user-friendly. High quality steel plate, thousands of bends without deformation. We have extensively tested and verified the results on various machines.
  • 5. Easy to Use and Maintain: Some customers suggest giving it a quick wash with mild detergent upon arrival just to make sure the plate is as clean and grease free. Put the sticker onto Prusa XL heatbed tie, then its levelling sensor will automatically go on while machine powered on. After printing, let the plate cool down before removing the model to avoid damaging coating. Slightly bend it, pop off the prints! Regular cleaning with alcoholl or a cleaning agent for prolonging service lifespan.

It's a really neat build plate which allows you to change up the normal texture you will see on the bottom of your 3d printed objects. A bit challenging adhesion exploring on this new upgraded smooth carbonfiber surface. In extreme conditions, such as humid filaments, complex models, our practical experience suggests lowering print speed, increasing bed temperature, and optimizing filament and chamber temperature.
If you're looking to get a specific texture and want reliable build plate adhesion, please go have a try. And it is especially cool with translucent/transparent filaments as that really plays up the frosty effect.
