J SERIES: Caplugs J Series Tear-Tab Cap for Male NPT Threads are blue, slip-on tear-tab caps designed for use with male NPT-threaded fittings. Intended for single-use only, they lock onto threads and can be removed with ease by pulling on the tear-tab located at the bottom of one side.
EASY TO USE: Our J Series caps can be quickly installed onto male NPT-threaded fittings, easily slipping over and then snapping into place. They feature a locking bead that engages lead thread and holds on securely, as well as a tear-tab that allows for easy removal by hand, eliminating the need for tools.
RESISTANT MATERIAL: Caplugs J Series Tear-Tab Cap for Male NPT Threads are fabricated from a low-density polyethylene material (LD-PE), a flexible and durable material that is resistant to water and a wide range of chemicals and weather types. It has a service temperature range of -94° F (-70° C) to 175° F (79° C).
