Our proprietary environmentally safe coating adheres to the outer wound strings, then seeps into the crevices. Our treatment not only adds to the life of the strings, but makes for a smoother feel. Although a micro coating, these strings sound natural. Available for electric and acoustic guitar
All Black Diamond Strings are sealed with Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI ). The VCI aligns on the surface of the strings to a depth of 3 to 5 molecules. This layer of molecules passivates the charged surface and creates a barrier that prevents oxidation.
