Description

This Brennan PCNY2601 branch tee is a PBT push-to-connect fitting. The branch tee fitting is T-shaped and has two push-to-connect tube connections on the main run and a National Pipe Taper (NPT) female threaded connection on the branch at a 90-degree angle from the middle of the tee. The NPT threads create a tighter seal than straight threads. Dimensions for tees are represented as An x B x C. "A" and "B" indicate the main run on the fitting, and "C" indicates the branch. This fitting is made of nylon, which is very strong and flexible, has excellent abrasion resistance, is lightweight, and resists crushing and cracking. The fitting is suitable for handling pressures up to 250 pounds per square inch (psi) and has an operating temperature range of -14 to +175 degrees F. This branch tee fitting meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14743 technical specifications.
Tube fittings are components used for connecting, branching, terminating, and changing the direction of tubing in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. They are made of brass, stainless steel, PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), and other materials that resist corrosion and wear. Tube fittings have various types of connections, including threaded, welded, barbed, and push-to-connect (also called one-touch). Push-to-connect connections do not require tools or sealants. Tube fittings are used in various applications, including machine tools, airplane and truck controls, and automated production lines, among others.
Brennan Industries manufactures critical flow components. The company, founded in 1953 and headquartered in Solon, OH, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard 9001:2008 and its fittings meet Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) specifications.
