The light kit is designed to be used with 12V-DC power only!On 36V electric cars, you can use two of the series connected 6V battery, connecting the positive wire to the positive terminal on one battery and the negative wire to the negative terminal of the other battery. On 48V systems, you must use a voltage reducer. if not, the led light will be burnt out;
