Eyepiece diopter scales for sharp focus. 1.85x and 3x specially-designed Barlow Lens is included which effectively doubles the magnification of eyepieces used. (If failing to reach the focus, try using the binoviewer with an optical path corrector)
The unit has room for inserting two 1.25" eyepieces. The eyepieces are held in place by compression ring which keeps them securely in place without scratching them. The Stereo Binocular Viewer requires you use two eyepieces of equal focal lengths and optical design.
Multi-coated BAK-4 prisms: The Stereo Binocular Viewer will also improve contrast on deep sky objects as well as solar system objects. The Stereo Binocular Viewer is designed to work with Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes (SCT) and many refracting telescopes. Features high quality FMC BAK-4 prisms reduce light loss. Each unit is quality control inspected for collimation and performance. The BAK-4 prisms are multi-coated on their optical surfaces, reducing reflections to a minimum.
With their adapted 1.25" barrel, Astromania bino-viewers will fit into any standard telescope. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 60mm and 77mm, so almost any young people or adults can use these bino-viewers.
