This beautiful trinket/jewelry box, of a wise old owl perched upon books, features a wonderful metallic bronze finish and has hand-painted accents. Measuring 4 1/2 inches tall, 4 inches wide, and 3 1/2 inches deep, it is highly detailed, down to the inscription on the parchment on the owl is perched upon. The top lifts off to reveal a storage area 1 inch high, 2 5/8 inches deep, and 1 3/4 inches deep (front to back). It`s made of cold cast resin.
