Installation Steps:
Installing this fan is easy. But be careful (take a picture) of how the old fan is mounted.
If the mounting bracket for the new fan does not match the old fan. This is easily fixed by simply mounting the old bracket to the new fan. When you do this, you have to remove the screws that hold the fan motor in place, and yes, if you leave it loose and assemble it upside down, the fan will run backwards.
“Upside down” in this case means flipping the rotor over. Now that the fan is mounted to the ceiling, it's ready to run, but I still need to find the right tool to tighten the last screw that holds the fan in place so the vibration noise will stop.
