A fabric woven from the fibers of ramie grass leather, originally of light green color but purified and bleached to whiten. The texture is thick and cold, so it dries quickly and is used as a fabric in summer. The ramie is a traditional summer dress that symbolizes the beauty of Korea. It has a history of 1,500 years since it was accidentally discovered by an old man in Baekje. Because of its high historical value, it is designated and managed as an important intangible cultural asset for the protection of production technology.
