The Twist-In Sediment Filter Cartridge for reverse osmosis/deionization systems acts as a line of defense against dirt and debris. Use this sediment water filter cartridge as a pre-filter prior to carbon filtration. It captures and reduces unwanted matter such as sand, silt, and rust from water which affect the quality and appearance of water. The Aquatic Life sediment water filter replacement is only compatible with Aquatic Life Twist-In RO & RO/DI models 540370, 540371, 540372, and 540346. The twist-in sediment cartridge is designed to simply "Twist-In" to the pivoting head on the Aquatic Life 75 and 100 GPD Models of the Twist-In RO and RO/DI units. This RO sediment filter has a translucent polyethylene housing for easy viewing of the cartridge condition to know when it's time to replace. Replace every 3-6 months or 2,500 gallons of total water passing through the cartridge.
