Notice for using smart drain pump
After water pump stops draining for the first time,pay attention to observe whether all the water in the pipe flows back.
If all the water in the pipe can flow back the water pump can be used normally.
If the water in the pipe cannot flow back the pump will not work. There is air in the pipe.(The water in the pipe cannot flow back, which means there is air in the pipe, and the water pump will not be able to pump water, and the machine will malfunction when idling for long periods of time).
If the pump is unable to lift the water to a height of approximately 7 feet, there is air in the pump. All you need to do is unplug the pipes, fully submerge pump, start pumping once to remove the air from the pump. Then reconnect the pipes. For small power pumps, when installing the pipe try not to bend it or make it too long.
