Description

This 4-port serial to IP converter enables remote control of different RS232 devices over an IP network. The serial over LAN adapter is highly customizable using the Windows-based companion software, Device Server Manager (DSM), that enables the creation of virtual COM ports, allowing seamless migration of existing serial applications. Dimensions of 7x2.3x0.9in. The converter is housed in a full metal enclosure for durability in harsh environments. It includes all necessary hardware for wall and DIN rail mounting. The converter features Dual power options, DC jack and terminal block. A universal power adapter is included. Single RJ45 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port supporting Telnet Server (RFC2217), TCP Server, TCP Client, and UDP protocols. It also supports ESD level 4 surge protection and can provide 5VDC through pin 9 if required.
