Description

500 Meters Long Range PoE+ Extension Kit provides a cost-effective solution to extend PoE up to 500M between two locations without using any PoE extenders. This kit includes 2×4-port long-range PoE+ switches, and each is equipped with 4×10/100Mbps RJ45 PoE ports and 2×10/100Mbps uplink ports. By connecting them together with a continuous run of Cat5e cable, you can effectively achieve a max. distance of 500M between two workstations, which significantly reduces the costs and materials needed for installing separate Ethernet cables and PoE extenders. It also simplifies network management, allowing the administrator to control and monitor the connected PDs from a centralized point. Moreover, considering that there is only data transmission between two long-range PoE+ switches, it can ensure safe operation in hazardous locations that contain combustible dust or flammable gases, such as flour mills, oil rigs, and gas-fired power plants. Compliant with IEEE802.3af/at, each switch can supply up to 30W of power per PoE port with a 60W power budget to power various devices like PTZ cameras, WAPs, etc.
