The Woolly Bugger is a beaded streamer and has long been considered one of the most effective fly fishing patterns in the world for both freshwater and saltwater. This simple, classic design attracts a wide range of fish as it imitates many of their favorite food sources: minnows, hegamites, nymphs, baitfish, large insects, and leeches. It is an ideal fly for targeting trout, bass, and panfish.

Fly Design:

Wooly bugger fly fishing flies are tied on longer hooks and include a marabou tail and chenille body with a hackle (from the head to the tail of the fly).
